Bumper bolts

Can the factory bumper bolts be used when putting a ranch hand bumper on? Idk if they were long enough or not. Iv got an 04. Thanks!

I know on the ranchhand I had, it came with a reinforcement plate and needed longer bolts to go thru the plate, ears and ranchhand

Any chance you know what the size and thread pitch is for them? And how long they would have to be?

I used 1/2" grade 8. They will probably be 2- 2 1/2" long.

And the 1/2" will fit using the original nuts?

OEM bolts are metric. 1/2" is not metric. OEM nuts will not work with a 1/2" bolt.

I know that. That's why I was surprised to see him use 1/2" bolts

Well with my bumper I couldn't exactly use the stock bolts. I went from 4 bolts to 14 bolts.



Due to the thicker material on a ranch hand you will probably have to use different bolts. Plus, you won't see the bolts so the acorns aren't really needed
