Burning oil/ oil in fuel

Ok guys I'm at a loss here. I've been battling my truck going through 4 quarts of oil over 400 miles and is starting to get old. I drained fuel from my filter and saw it was definitely darker than straight diesel so i know there is oil getting into it. So my initial thought was injector o rings so i replaced them didn't find anything wrong with the ones i took off and my condition hasn't changed.

My next step i guess is a compression test but since it's getting into my fuel i don't think that's it. The truck starts up and drives fine but you can see a bluish tinge to my exhaust. What about injector cups or the injectors themselves? Can that cause the same issue? Any help is always appreciated.

Injector O rings.

One might of got cut when you replaced them. That is the only place where oil and fuel have a chance to mix at.

You may still be seeing the effects of the bad o-rings you replaced. Once oil is in the fuel, it will contaminate the whole tank of fuel you have. How many miles has it been since you did the o-rings?

It is also possible that the injectors have an internal issue letting oil get into the fuel. Not as common, but definitely possible.

Being a 1995.... With a 155k on the clock I would steer towards dried out valve guide seals that are leaking.. I have a 95 F350 RCLB that does the same thing.. Newer borgwarner TP38 but hazes at idle.. Drive it hard and it goes away.. Dead give away of either worn injectors or valve guide seals dripping oil into the inlet stream.

Valve guides would not account for the oil in the fuel. Burning oil yes.

I'm with Bugman injector o-rings are the only place they mix, but you could possibly have a crack in a head between your fuel and oil galleys.

Maybe 2000 miles since o ring replacement and its still burning through it. I was careful when i replaced them. Is there anyway to test the injectors of this or so you have to pull them and send them out?
