Buzzing under dash.

So I have a relay under my dash that is buzzing, it wont buzz if I hit the brake pedal or have the turn signals on. After searching psn Ive found that it could be the multi-function switch but I pulled the switch out and everything looked fine....no broken wires or anything.

The relay doesnt even say what amp it is, when I pulled the relay I lost everything that goes to the multi-function switch.

it is the relay. It is located above the port you would plug in a trailer brake controller on the other side of the steel. Change the relay and everything will be normal.

I had same problem on a couple of trucks.

Alright, tried one from autozone but those tards there gave me a f'ing flasher relay, so now I get clicking instead of buzzing :morons:

Well its been a week, still buzzing and its getting to be rather annoying.

Im thinking a wire is grounding out somewhere cause whenever I hit a bump it would stop buzzing.

Are you sure all your grounds are tight?

If I remember correctly there are a few grounds behind the removable panel under the steering wheel and one of them goes to that relay.

I'll double check them, driving home from work today and there was no buzzing......
