Can you tune the 5r110 to hold direct?

Can anyone tune the 5r110 to hold direct with the converter locked for a dyno? I would also like a tune for towing with a similar feature, I heard at one time Elite offered a OD delete by using the tow haul button. I have searched but can not find any good write ups on this. I could sure pull the big hills better when towing heavy if I could hold the transmission in direct with the converter locked.

Yes, most tuners have a dyno specific tune that will keep it from shifting.

Exactly, they just make it shift through 1-4 real quick so 5th gear is really wide. You can have tunes written that keep the converter locked up too.

TSD calls it early lock up...holds the convertor at 3rd thru OD if I recall correctly.

well thats always an option.... I had forgot that we pmed about it.... Warrens stuck in my head due to their turn around time and they are somewhat local to me. Once there out I will figure it out.
