Can't scan dtc codes

2012 f550. Tried to scan for dtc with a edge insight, h&s mini max, xrt pro, odb 2 scanner and they all say unable to connect.
I can read the tranny error codes no problems.

The F550s don't always play nice with generic scanners. You'll need a Ford IDS.

Okay thanks. I ran into the issue with my f350 once. Even the Ford ids wouldn't work. Eventually we gave up.
