Can Rerouting the ccv be as simple as installing a check valve were it comes out of valve cover and a small piece of house routed to were I want it? Oil all over tubes, im always thinking my IC is full of oil, I finally removed it to clean it today, there was no oil in it, im surprised. At least I got to clean it though very dirty.

I take air heater...doe it only work during winter? Is it always heating the air? What is the point of heating the air after it is cooled through the IC? Has anyone eliminated it?

Thanks

I eliminated the air intake heater. There is no real reason to have it. All I did was take it out and cut the heater part off then screw it back in.

For the ccv I put a 90 degree pvc fitting on then added hose to vent below the cab

You do not want to install a check valve in the CCV system. You want it to be as open as possible with no restriction.

As far as the AIH, it only comes on in really cold conditions with extended idle periods. It's only purpose is to reduce/eliminate white smoke.
