CCV with out catch can- alot of steam

any of you guys with CCV mods that don't have catch cans have alot of steam all the time? no matter what temp the motor or the temp out side it has a steady steam coming out of it. it's not a ton of steam but if you stare at it you can see it. and it seems like the truck burns a little oil. only has 59,000 on the motor.

I've got 240k on mine and have a tiny bit, buy 90% of the time I don't notice it. And it vents too right under the drivers door. During the winter I notice it more though.

I'm kinda freaked out something's going on in the motor. always seems a little low on oil.

I have ccv mod and in the right lighting you can see some steam or smoke or something. The truck does NOT burn oil. This is normal.

I cant say that I have seen any of this with mine at all and I never have any drops of oil (from condensed steam) on the pavement. I only have a faint smell sometimes when it gets hot outside and I run my oil at 205F all the time.

mine always puffs out smoke from the ccv which is clear as day, no oil drops though. Every 6.0 has blow by LOL

I got a 7.3 with 70 k and a tdi with 260k, they both blow steady faint puffs. I wouldn't worry unless you notice it getting worse

well yeah your gona smell it its hot oil at 200*F as far as smoke goes ive had mine for probably 2-3k and it just kinda looks like i little tea kettle as far as smoke it doesnt get too bad and i havent had any drips or anything. everything is running fine

Mine steamed worse when i ran rotella and amsoil. But since i switched to valvoline its not as bad and i dont smell it unless the wind is blowing just right.
