Yesterday, I started my truck after 2 days, the weather was fairly warm (50°). After I started it, the CEL was on, it was idling fine. About 7 seconds later, the engine dropped 200 rpm, the CEL went away & it returned to normal idle... Any ideas? ICP? HPOP? Or did I get lucky & get a truck that fixes itself? This hasn't happened before & it didn't log any codes. Thanks for any input!

if a CEL was set you would expect it to store the code for a few drive cycles

I think as long as the CEL was set that's all it would take to create the stored code

not sure what your reading with but some codes are only retrievable with a Higher end
devices

fingers crossed LOL

Ya unfortunately I couldn't get my hands on an auto enginuity... But the one I did use, it still could access basic ECM info & it said I didn't have any codes, I have a 2 hour drive today, I guess we will see how she does!
