changing interior colors

I currently have the tan lariat interior and want to go to black im getting brand new buckets and will just recover the rear bench

My main questions are the dash and door panels. I figure paint the dash but could i hydro dip the whole door panel and just change the leather color for the arm rests ? I have another complete tan interior i could so i dont have to rip mine completely down until im done.

Has anyone taken this on ?

someone did do this on his EX cab, I plan on doing this next year and have the same plan on maybe doing all the panels in hydrodip but can't find anywhere that does it....otherwise I was just going to have them professionally dyed...I would have the dash professionally dyed, I painted my dash last year and the sun has faded it and made the tan come out in many places. your best bet is to have it dyed.

I painted my dash in my reg cab in may and its already showing the color underneath.
I really wish I would have had it dyed.
but my prep before paint was subpar and I didn't use adhesive promoter.

I might be buying the parts from a grey truck so i wont need to paint anything. I wanted black but i can do a black and grey theme.
