So after 100K I had a bit of a noise in cold weather on start up so I did a bit of digging around and the front tensioner pivot was hooped, rear was fine.
Some like the gap, but not on a tensioner, the shot of the bolt has a ring of worn away metal from the pivot and was not far from failing, potentially flying into the fan and rad.
This is what it should look like, so check your tensioners.
The front and rear tensioners look alike but they are opposite in how they load the belt.
