Well I yanked my motor yesterday so I can install all the stuff ive been collecting the past few months including my new worked heads. I have OEM head gaskets on the way but they wont be here until Friday I found out which is kind of an issue now with the time and space I have available.

the truck is daily driven, 350/200 injectors should be back by the end of the week and I have a s471 turbo. ill be spending the next few days prepping the block surface to the best of my ability so ensure my ARPs and head gaskets mate well. what are my best options realistically? I don't beat the snot out of my truck but it has a little fun. Dyno day is may 18/19th and ill be doing what I can before that to make these seal. what has a better chance, oem or felpro head gaskets assuming one does not wait 10K miles..

Same style gaskets used on a 6.0. Have quite a few down here on spray and 65+ of boost. Also stuck them on the pull truck with no issues. Just another Idea. Do have a set here too.

I was told stock head gaskets are the best. Also, you should drive it at least 5k miles to season them.

Fel pro's are the same as stock. In fact ford has paid a couple places for warranty after someone told them they were felpro. Stock truck, but ford is picky on what you put in your truck and doesn't like to give anyone more than they have to.

BTW, warranty claim was a #7 rod through the block 7k after hg/cracked head replacement. Factory short block.

Take it easy for about an oil change or two. That let's the head/gasket/block seal up real nice with some heat cycles. Then go haul ass
