cleaning lpfp

Ok so i need to pull the side cover off my lpfp as the drain has become plugged is there any special procedure for bleeding the air out or should it be the same as replacing the filters with cycling the key?

Yes just cycle key as normal fuel filter maintaince
I have read and heard of people doing this under the truck
FYI it's worth the time to remove HFCM it's 3 nuts and 4 fuel lines

Agreed. Pull the HFCM. 4x4 will need to drop the front of the front Drive shaft.
