I had these years ago, have been looking for a new set of my new truck! Not DOT approved but I just used a red LED bulb or the 3157 red bulb you can get and never had a problem with them.

Guess it depends on who inspects ur rig.

In some states, inspection is one time for the lifetime of the rig in your name, which is good in some retrospectives, but sucks when buying used as they are beat....

I would love a set of these tails, slight tint, with a red led conversion......... and your new headlights, but no cash

Are you able to get these in smoked? I have dark green color and think they would look much better. Plus the highway patrol probably wouldn't bug me as much for smoked as the clears.
