Code p2291 and p0087

ok I'm new to the 6.4 world. i bought a used 6.4 with a 100k on it a few weeks ago from the dealer. they should me the list of things they fixed on it before i bought it. all new filter and they replaced 2 injectors. truck was stock when i bought it. only thing i have done so far is a mini max. after a few hours of having it installed it threw a p0087 fuel rail/system pressure too low. so i uninstalled it and the code came back. cleared it seemed fine for a few days. drove around quit a bit yesterday code came back also with the p2291 injector control pressure too low. truck seems to run ok as my brother took it up north this weekend. I've read a lot about both codes but never these two together. I'm taking it back to the dealer next week just wanna get some others peoples input. I'm leaning towards its the hpfp. thanks everyone

damn really well its going in monday i told them that it was the hpfp so we will see if they replace it.

I'm pretty disappointed with how Ford did mine... I told them before it went it I had no fuel at the shrader valve... They still insisted it was the HPFP and it wasnt... Imagine that. Hopefully your problem gets fixed first time around!

Is it making oil? in other words is the oil being diluted with fuel, and the oil level is climbing up the stick.

Hello everyone thanks for having me. I have a 2008 6.4 that I installed a blacknight tune I'm now having p0087 code once in awhile. When first starting to drive the truck will bog (cut) out the boost guage goes up but the truck is very sluggish then throws you back in the seat and works great until I shut the truck off. Once I restart the truck and i start driving it bogs for a few seconds then kicks in and works great.
