cold start problem

I have a 2001 F350 Crew cab Dually 8ft bed stock motor with big air cleaner 4 in exhaust straight thru muffler and a power programmer by Super chips 1705.. The problem is when the weather gets down to 30's or below when the truck starts it has real bad lope the rocks whole truck for a little bit then clears up and runs ok, does anybody know what it could be thanks Bobby

Does it romp with the programmer put back to stock?

I wouldn't wory then especially If its below freezing....does it do it when its plugged in or not?

When its plugged up it doesn't do it

Its normal... I've started mine not plugged in at -27* and it popped rite off but sounded extremely pissed for about 2 minutes... just the nature of frozen oil

Best thing in my opinion you could do, is switch to a synthetic oil. I run T6 personally and have never had the romps.
