2006...Egr is blocked. Headgaskets have been blown for about 3 months.
Yesterday I went to crank it from a job site and it acted like it didn't want to crank and when it turned over it sounded like it skipped over a couple cylinders but finally fired off and idled fine but was pluming white smoke.

This morning I tried to crank it and it just clunked twice...never turned over..like it was locked up...hit the starter a few more times and it finally cranked over and idled..again white smoke. It cleared up finally yesterday when I drove it home but I just moved it this morning to get my personal truck out of the drive...any ideas? Water in the cylinders? Injector cup? Haven't checked the degas for diesel yet but will when I go back out...

Sounds like your getting enough water in the cyl to hydro lock it. Be careful trying to crank that through you will bend something and wipe out the whole motor.
I would recommend loosing the cap on the degas bottle when ya park it. It will relieve the pressure in the coolant system so it wont push as much into the cylinders.
But sound like you need to get it into the shop soon.
