How does a HX-55 compare to say something like a S366. Looking to do a compound set-up on my 7.3, running 350/200 injectors and ported heads. I already have a S475 88/96 exhaust wheel with the 1.32 housing this will be my LP. Looking for a HP charger is the HX-55 gonna work out? Looking to make good power and still streetable. Dont mind using wastegate if i need to.

An HX55 is only similar to an S366 in the fact that they are both turbos.

Really - an HX55 would make a terrible high pressure charger with an S475 atmosphere.

And that doesn't take into account the turbine differences - I don't have those numbers off the top of my head - but the HX55 won't spool anywhere near as nice as that S366.

65-66mm inducer on the high pressure turbo and 88or bigger on the atmosphere housings need to be relatively tight on the hp turbo and mid range to loose on the atmo gate both.. preferably a 60mil gate on the high pressure to vent excess exhaust gasses around the turbine you may get away with a 44 on the atmo. dump from high pressure to intermediate pipe to spool the atmo.

Now any smaller than 88 mil your wasting your time don't let anyone tell you smaller is better their stupid if they do. Feel free to ask any other questions people with plenty of knowledge running around here
