155/30s
Rr fuel
Bd thruster 62/65/70 with diverter
S478
Banks ic
I've seen a few posts over the years of people asking about it, but not really any that have done it(I'm sure there has). Also going to play around with ficm tuning to help spool them.

Those injectors are barely gonna be able to spin a 400 series turbo enough to be useful. The 362 alone will be enough.

What s your motivation for doing this?

Yeah seems like it'd be really tough to spool a 78 with 155's.

From what we've been discussing, FICM tuning and larger injectors don't go well together. Talk to your FICM tuner specifically about this.

Yea the lp turbo might not be the best at the moment, but it should also save the Trans for awhile lol (and lots of room to grow). . I wasn't able to get my 64 vgt turbo to clean up these injectors very well, and with discussing with a few it's most likely due to the thinner air up here. So of thought if give the compounds a try

the 64 wouldn't clean up 155s?

It may not be the most optimal setup but I'm excited to see how it does.

May want to check in with Maryland performance diesel. They had a compound setup running stock injectors and stock vgt. That would be the closest setup I know of to what you want. I'm sure they could help you out.

Wrong.. they ran 225/100's with the compound setup using the stock turbo... and used a 40mm jgs wastegate.

Well it's up and running. Took a little longer then I expected, but didnt help the retard working on it poked a hole in the oil pan when tapping for the drain(me) Ill have a few vids next week on it, but so far empty it's just an animal, pulls hard on every gear, makes 40lbs with my little 155/30s (for reference a stock turbo made 24, the 64 made 28~30) take a bit to spool them hard, but still makes a couple pounds on light take off.

What tunes are you running, did it keep your egts cooler?
That setup looks nice.

Currently running Eric's xtreme x tune, php Hercules ficm. Playing with ficm tunes Egts are cooler across the board. It's nice cruisin down the interstate at 550~600 at 65.
