I was hoping someone could chime in to tell me if I did this right? I was told to use an air nozzle to blow the oil away from the glow plugs because some oil could get into the cylinders and mess up the compressio readings. I don't have an air nozzle for my air compressor so I cranked the motor ten times after pulling the glow plugs hoping that would evacuate any oil that may have fell into the cylinders(was that a good idea)? I also did my compression testing after getting the motor up to operating temperature. My reading were around 380,380,380,350,350,365,365,365. Do you think my motor is any good? Thanks!!

Motor sounds fine for a 200k truck... I wish my motor had that good of compression numbers.

420 or so is new

300 or below is considered a dead hole.

Mine seems to run fine at 330-320 range...
