compressor oring for 99.5

so i ordered a oring for the compressor housing and its a 99.5 so oring came and i went to put it in and it was almost like someone streched it out so it was to big and wont seat right. emailed the guy and is sending me a new one but has anybody else had this problem?

If an oring is stretched, you can sometimes put in freezer and it will retract. If it is wrong part, then it is wrong.
Opposite goes when you need to stretch.
Put oring in warm water.

truck has mfg date of march 17 1999 and was told its a 99.5 and thats what i ordered is a 99.5 oring looks to be same thickness its just a little big. and ill try putting in freezer. thank you
