I was curious if anybody has tried this mod? and would like to know if you had any issues since the mod? Thanks.

I attempted this mod, but it didn't work because I was in a hurry and accidentally drilled too far so I bought an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator. I think it's a good mod though, especially if you're trying to eliminate valley leaks. I also have the fuel filter attached to my radiator similar to his set up

I appreciate the input guys. I have a spare regulator and figured why not eliminate potential leaks down the road. if I mess it up I really do not care since its an extra one. Thanks again.

What micron did you use for the fuel filter?

I did it, works fine. The only problem I have had is getting it started intially, I had to prime the fuel system to get it running.

I ran one on my personal beater truck for 9 months, problem free until the engine blew.

Have had one on my cousins truck for nearly 2 years with no issue other than having to upgrade to a heavier relay.

I had a thread on here or PSN where I showed one of the setups. Not the prettiest, but very functional. I ran just a 10 micron Filter water separator.

I'm running a cut-up FPR on my truck, no issues so far. I've got roughly $170 total in e-fuel on my truck.

But this winter i plan on changing a bunch of stuff and getting an aftermarket FPR.

I did it over the winter. Best thing I have done so far. Its nice to not have to worry about that leaking fuel bowl. Easy access to the fuel pump and means if you ever have any oil or fuel spill in the valley while working on the truck you can very easily clean it up. I would definitely recommend it. Didn't have a starting issue like someone mentioned earlier. But that was probably due to them draining the system.

Making things more accessible is my biggest reason for doing it. Being able to find leaks and cleaning up the valley is a definite plus also.
