converter lock up switch?

hey guys, i recently got a 95 regular cab an was wondering if there is a way to build a conveter lockup switch?

Im not sure what it is on a obs, but I made one for my superduty. There is a wire that goes to the transmission, you simply splice into it, and then run the wire back to a switch of your choice, then ground the other wire. Simple as that.

But be careful, because you will break stock parts after a while.

:whs: It's the same for an obs....purple wire with the yellow tracer I believe

OK thanks guys,now how would I make it so that it can lock like factory an have it so I can lock it up manually? I really just wanna do it for crushing around mpgs, also where is the best place to tap into the wire for it? Sorry guys never did a lockup switch be fore an don't wanna mess it up

no idea for superduties.
no the light will not blink.
but remember it whe coming to a stop, if you forget, either you will rearend
somone or look like a real dum *** lol and stall an automatic...

Wire bundle that runs along drivers side frame rail.
Take a look in there.
Clean the wires with degreaser if you can't tell color.
Solder a wire to it then heat shrink.
Run wire to a switch in the cab that connects to ground.
When grounded the converter locks.

I guess its different on the OBS, but in my Superduty, the OD light flashes if you lock it any other time than when tuning calls for.

There is no purple wire that goes to my tranny, there's a brown wire with yellow tracer is the only wore with a yellow tracer
