Converting 99-04 to 05-07 headlight housings

Is this an exact match or is there some splicing, retrofitting involved?

so are the 05-07 larger than the 99-04?

They are deeper in spots. I would just get the 05-07 header panel. I trimmed to start off, but eventually bought the newer header panel. They're really not all that expensive.

Oh, and you will need a conversion harness for sure. 05-07 headlights are 9008 (H13) bulbs instead of the 9007.

as said you need a couple different pig tails and a couple minutes with a die grinder or buy a new header, i can now install a set in about 15 minutes haha

1. Remove Grill
2. Remove old Headlights
3. Cut existing Header Panel:
You have to cut your header Panel as shown:

Then you will need to get a pigtail as mentioned above, as the newer bulbs are H13, I got my pigtails from Jap on here, he sells for DI, they look like this:
