Coolant and BPD Oil cooler

I'm install a BPD oil cooler and was wondering if it was still a good idea to flush out all the gold, and use ELC? I'm not having an issue with the coolant now, just upgrading the cooler.

Wouldn't be a bad idea. Be sure to use distilled water.
