crystalized stuff in turbine outlet...?

well i pulled my turbo off to pull the motor today and saw this stuff in the outlet.... it didnt smell like anything other than diesel exhaust...the truck has sat for over a month and hasnt started. im not sure if its just moisture from sitting or if i should be concerned...

i wasnt talking about the rust, i guess its hard to see in the pics but theres a crystalized liquid in there too. wanted to make sure its not coolant

in the fuel.
released when it's burned.

I got no clue what it is.

it could be coke/carbon from fuel
you're talking about the flecks on the turbine wheel, right?

any time I see a "What is this?" thread, I always gotta ask, and should first before running my mouth..
"What made you pull 'part x'?" In your case, the turbo.
