I am assume they are an aluminum extrusion, is so the miter saw does a decent job.

If you use a 10" miter saw use a 180 tooth plywood blade . Thats all we use at work to cleanly cut all our extrusion. $8 at home depot.

Mike when cutting aluminum the more teeth the better on the blade the better. But as mentioned above if you know of a good machine shop close buy I would rather run them by there and cut them with a ban saw as it will be quicker and cleaner

X 25 on the band saw. Like also mentioned, you could do it at home, even with a jig saw. Bandsaw will make the cleanest and most accurate cut though.

Before I got mine, I did a little research and found some people left them long and it just make for an extra spot to get to the bed. So you could always leave em instead of messing with cutting them.

I lucked out and got a pair from before when they made different lengths, so I didn't end up needing to cut them anyways.

Beat me to it. My buddy left them full length for that reason.

I used a sawsall with a metal blade to cut my power boards down. Cut was clean enough, plus the cap goes over the end so you really wont see it.....nice and clean

i got a ferous metals blade for my skil saw, i did a test cut and it was clean. the cuts were good, but even if they arent perfect, the end caps have alot of room for error.
