Alright guys I've been working on the injectors and turbo all weekend but can't get the up pipes in to save my life. They're t4 divided with the piece welded to the side that bolt to where the drivers side pedestal bolts used to go it Supports the up pipes and the turbo just hangs on the up pipes. Is this how all of them are? Anybody have tips for getting them back there?

I think I'm just retarded. Do all of your up pipes have that piece of flat iron welded to the flange? The one that bolts where the drivers side pedestal bolts used to be?

I tried for 2 hours last night and couldn't get them in.

Yeah that's still there I think. I can't get both sides of the up pipe down the back of the motor. That long flat piece keeps getting in the way. The exhaust is still on btw.

Loosen the downpipe under the pickup and lean it as far towards the heater box as you can

Did you get them installed yet? I was gonna tackle mine today but I feel like dog s*@t right now. I figure the heat shield Matt mentioned would need to come off. I was just debating on whether or not the ficm needs to come out.

My ficm is off and I still can't get it. I'm not 100 percent sure on the heat shield he's talking about. Mine aren't on man I've got the dutes today.

That's not there. I haven't even been able to get them that far though. I was tired as hell though. Hopefully be more concentrated in the A.M

So you're saying the bracket that mounts to the upper portion of the block is impeding the install?

Do you have the passenger side pipe installed at the same time?

Exactly. I've tried with and without.
