dana 50 grinding noise

hey guys on my 250 my front end makes a grinding noise when locked in four wheel seems to fade under load then when you let off will grind. nothing out of the ordinary replaced spindle bearings today but the same noise. seems to work ok though any thoughts ?

Since the noise comes with load, it sounds like its in the diff housing. How are the ujoints? The inner on the stub shaft is often not maintained nearly as well as the outers. If you leave the hubs unlocked, but run the front diff, what does it do?

totally sounds like its comming from the drivers side hub im going to swap hubs and see if it follows. it seems to make the noise all the time with t case locked hubs un locked. im thinking my hub is cutting in and out if its possible. ill see how i make out swapping them. thanks for the input.
