DBF-back exhaust kits

Thinking about doing a 5" Dynomax DPF-back kit. I still have about 60,000 miles on my warranty, so I'm not quite ready to lose that due to delete&tune. Does anyone know much about the kits like the Dynomax? Am I going to have to worry about throwing codes or losing warranty by adding it?

These new trucks with all their emissions crap on them.. I'm just so worried to touch the damn thing.

No codes whatsoever , let me know if I can help you out. Cost depends on a few factors such as using aluminized or stainless .

It will be purely for looks, no change in sound or performance. I did the mbrp kit on mine, then kept it on when I deleted. 100% better looking than the stock cholo tips.

I've seen some videos online of them. I think you're right about the sound change from an engine perspective, but I think there was noticeably more turbo noise. Paired with S&B Intake, it might make a pretty good whistle.

Intakes will change the sound of the turbo noise, but a DPF back exhaust is strictly for looks. With the CAT and DPF before it no noise or sound will be increased or noticed since they are doing all of the muffling. And no sensors at all beyond the DPF so no chance in a CEL or warranty issue with just a DPF back kit. However the Dynomax kit is significantly more than an equivalent in a MBRP, Magnaflow or Flo Pro kit that are just as good or better quality. We even have some that are currently on sale.
