I'm in need of a new clutch been contemplating a lot and want to go with a south bend 3600. My question would be do I go with the diaphragm or lever style. This truck is a dd but would like to compete in pulls this summer. Right now the truck has only the tuner intake and deletes. Plans in future to up the horses but nothing extreme. Will the diaphragm style take the abuse of pulling every so often? Thanks for the input everyone.

I would say the diaphragm should be fine. Not to mention it will be nicer to DD. They both have there advantages. Unless its a dedicated puller or race only pickup i would go lever but for street I would go Diaphragm.
