First of all, Bill and Corey, I will send you the package tomorrow after my meeting, everything took longer than I thought, in the mail tomorrow!!! My apologies!
Onward...
I ordered a bunch of stuff last week, kind of went off my rocker a little, but a couple of those things were diamond eye duals and PHP's FICM tune. Reviews of both, WOW.
I installed the duals for the same reason I went with the diamond eye kit. NOISE. I guess I got tired of feeling like a young punk when old people would give me dirty looks driving next to them. So getting the exhaust behind the truck would help with the noise, and Diamond Eye is one of the few exhaust companies that actually make a muffler, and not just a "resonator", so I call it. So far I am truely impressed. The noise in the cab is no more, and when driving through town with the windows down, you can hear a grumble, but its faint. When you open it up, it has its own unique sound.
Heres a couple of iPhone shots, they are horrible quality. I tucked the tips back a little, because I dont like them sticking way out. From the back it looks like they are sucked way in there, but from the side, they are perfect. 4" CAT back, with 5" 45 degree rolled cut.
PHP's FICM tune, has exploded my brain. I am honestly amazed at how much it woke up the bottom end of the power band. Ive heard it said, and I will now say it, but it is a different beast. I loaded the ATLAS 40 and 80, and tried them both. In the ATLAS 80, driving at 10 MPH, i can goose the throttle at the tires break loose immediately. Driveability around town has improved even, if you can believe that. I believe Matt writes a great tune, and I never thought it could be better. Married with PHP's FICM tunes, its a stoplight monster. Naturally, it smokes a bit more. I can walk the throttle back and forth, and it will smoke with the throttle. This has been the only downfall of the tune that I can find so far.
Cant wait to install retro's HID's!! :ford:
