I know I have the turbocharged one because of having a non vgt.
The fan fault, because i run an electric.
The egr because I don't have one.

But I don't remember ever having the ficm fault. (U0606 code)

It's a Swamps 58 volt ficm, but it is not reflashed. (According to Danny Elemore)

Any help from anyone running a 58 volt ficm, or someone who does the reflashes on ficms...thanks.

I have the same code with my innovative 58v
and was told the code was from seeing over voltage.
Been in the truck for over a year without any issues.

got fuel?

Slight problem with heavy fuel...

I stuck a finger into the exhaust tip to see if it was wet/dry, oil, or fuel.....
Yeah...it was caused by excess fuel.
4" tip reduced down because of how thick the soot is...lol.

Thanks guys.

Just had to get the 'ol girl home so I could open 'er up....again.

Low on funds, and to have to do injectors now is a b!tch...

Would have really liked it if it would have worked till at least the end of fall before becoming a PITA again. (My wife is oh so happy right now.)

Your wife too haha. Mine wants to kill me sometimes . I've already been told I'm never allowed to buy another diesel again because they are nothing but money pits. I'll cross that bridge when it gets here . Its not my fault everything for these trucks is expensive.

I'm just happy that I don't have to take it to a dealership to have it repaired.

And my wife wants me to buy a new truck, just to get rid of this one. Lol

I get that code and my FICM is tuned but not 58 v modded. I saw it, thought about it for a second and forgot about it lol.

That code is due to the FICM Calibration not matching what the PCM Calibration is calling for. It will pop up even if you put another FICM with a Ford Calibration that doesn't match what the PCM expects.

Yeh they don't even want to know what those bills would look like. I wouldn't be able to afford nothing if I couldn't do the work myself.
