Problem is, I confirmed on the telephone with someone whose name I didn't write down. Dean maybe, that they'd give me a core charge for the manifolds. Then I emailed Jeremy Johnson that I was sending it back. I called him and talked to him that I was returning two cores. They received the cores about three weeks ago. I spoke with him again last week and he confirmed, yes they got them and assured me that they'd return the core money. He's always in some weird hurry and cant talk very long(like 3 minutes) when I call.
Well this week, I called twice, left a message once. Emailed yesterday. nothing.

UPDATE - I reached the company by phone yesterday, Jeremy committed to refunding the money. I guess they had someone quit, etc.,etc..
All good now. Core money refunded.

My truck is a 2005 with an Edge w/Attitude programmer.
Blue spring kit prior and now a regulated return.
4 inch MBRP exhaust
EGR cooler ****** - EGR valve left in with an EGR tune
new HPOP
few other necessary things
no head studs - I keep it under 28 psi boost

This intake did help some with EGTs and the truck does breath better. As far as a distinctly noticeable change? uhhh You can tell, but it isn't obvious seat of the pants. However, I also didn't have $1000 in it either. In the end with a core this would be $580. I think if I add other performance items the intake may help more than with a basically stock truck.
The bad news is if someone wanted this done by Dr. Diesel, the guy who had been porting these manifolds, left I believe. They may have another that does it, IDK.

Yeah you'll notice it more with injector upgrades and turbo upgrades likely. On a relatively stock truck I wouldn't expect much of a difference.

You should really ditch that Edge and get a custom tuned SCT. Save your transmission.

There is no machining or porting with that manifold. All that is done...is the posts are removed/drilled out... That's it. Very minimal gains. A truly machined and ported manifold will be considerable noticeable.
