Wondering if anyone is running a wicked wheel from dieselsite yet. Im thinking about trying one when I stud my 06 in april.
I plan to do a converter, studs, valvesprings/pushrods, reg return and a ported intake manifold. Stock injectors will stay till they start giving me issues. Also may do a A1000 setup with baldwin filters and a sump.
Whats your guys opinion??

Brother has 190/100s that have been de-tuned for a stock turbo, he'll probably pick one of these up just to see what all the fuss is about

Truck will get injectors eventually, but I'm not changing the stockers till they give me issues. I just figured that the valve train upgrades would be a good upgrade either way.
And let us know how it does when you get it and install it!!

So I'm sure not many people are running them yet?
Any results with a stock truck.

Hmm this maybe a good edition to my dads truck. He doesn't wanna leave stock mode much. Does this wheel make it whistle like a earlier 6.0 or keep the 05-07 sound? (Can't stand the whistle, like the grunt better)

No change in whistle. That comes from the turbine side and the 10 blade 03 wheel vs 13 blade for all others. Might notice a little louder compressor whine with this wheel...

Well just got back from a short drive with it. Definitely built boost faster then stock one. There's a noticeable power gain from it, nothing crazy but definitely more power. Trying to watch the boost gauge and it seemed to build up boost quicker then before at the lower rpm range. Haven't driven enough to notice if it made a difference with EGT's I already have a banks intercooler so EGT's haven't been a problem with my truck even with an aggressive custom tune. It was pretty easy to install and I'm glad I pulled the turbo out anyway because when I did I noticed I was missing a bolt from the compressor housing as well as the pedastal. To me it was worth the time. It's not gonna make a huge gain like an powermax or MTW but its a nice little gain in my opinion.
