Does anybody know the difference between the OBDII system used in the older trucks 2009 and older and the newer trucks 2010+? It seems that ford calls the new system ("Ford UDS") (Universal Diagnostics System). When the switched over to the 6.7 for the 2011 MY they put this whole new communications system on it called Common Global Electrical Architecture (CGEA). Does anybody have any info for maybe a workshop manual or something for this Common Global Electrical Architecture (CGEA)? The reason I ask is because on the spartan dashdaq I have if I scan the vehicle with the ford enhanced PIDS on the 6.7 it doesn't find any PIDS if I switch it over to the 2010+ UDS it finds PIDS but its not a whole lot. Keep in mind I purchased the Ford Enhanced Package that also includes the ford UDS package for the 2010 + vehicles from drewtech for the dashdaq . Sorry for the rambling but can anybody verify roughly how much PIDS the IDS can pick up on the 6.7? Thanks in advance.
