different sized pilot bearings?!

went to install my rebuilt motor today and ran into a problem. installed new flywheel and my clutch kit was supposed to come with a new bearing but didn't. called around and found a bearing so I got it. well it doesn't fit and 3 other parts stores carry same one. does anyone know why the different sizes? it won't even fit on the input shaft.
2005 6.0 zf6. build date is 9/04

looks like they are giving you the 7.3 part. what is the part number of the one they are giving you?
rockauto shows the same number in '97, '05, and '07

does your transmission have a repair bushing?

6.0s all have the same size. Looks like they are giving you the 7.3 one and they are different. I would call southbend.

OK that's what I was thinking. ya It was missing from my clutch package. it was Sunday so tried 3 low end parts stores and all had same part...needless to say I'll call them tomorrow. just had two ppl to help me get motor in and a $15 parts holds up the whole day.
