Well my in dash has been black for months now, I have tried everything pulled fuses, unhooked battery cables, took it ford, etc. And nothing has brought mine back to life. It will take or eject a cd but nothing else not even light the buttons. Ford says it must be sent out for repairs. If I get a different unit i would lose my dewalt tool link system altogether which would effect resale. I'm really tired of humming at this point. Should I just bite the bullet and have it fixed for the second time with ford or is it a possibility that a regular audio shop could fix it. I am not sure since ford says it is a problem on microsofts end. Any suggestions or reference from similar situations you may have experienced would be great. Thanks for your inputl.

Nope even though it was replaced once under warranty and obviously an existing problem. They said it was common but it was a glitch with mirosoft and they would not warranty it. Whether it is on microsofts end or not Ford put it in my dash
