So got Trans installed
Thanks Twisted
Now Iv got hella lag.
45-60 mph in over drive in stupid tulsa traffic iv got to put it in tow hual and slowly accel it down shifts.
If I don't do this fuel guage droops and can't see behind me.

So been googling diverter valves the only one I can find is on the bd thruster turbo.
It looks like it's air operated. So idk how I can make that work.????

Iv been running erics non vgt x street
Should I try to re tune it?

I need some help on this one. Please
Or maybe I need bigger injectors

have you tried tapping the brake to unlock the converter when you need to accelerate at those speeds?

Well only problem tapping the brake just cruising, if the speed and pedal position are right the converter will lock back up, its a pain in the butt. Have eric adjust the tuning, he gets back monday.

You're going to need to change the exhaust housing to a diveded housing versus an open housing if thats what youre running if you want a diverter valve. BD sells it in a complete kit for $750 it includes the valve, flange adapter, feed line, drain line, pedestal, and hardware. its a GREAT kit. It will make that 66 spool quicker down low for sure. Its actuated by drive pressure by a spring that pushes the valve open when it hits a certain psi. Running a higher tension spring 11psi instead of BD's 8psi spring works better on the 66mm turbos from what i've been told, however I would think with a .70 exhaust housing that wouldnt work too well as backpessure may be a concern. I'd call JJ up and look into a .76 divided housing to pair with the bd valve.

it does NOT include the ped., drain line, feed, etc. it is just the diverter assembly.

my race file does that, for some reason my truck doesnt like the TC being locked egts go up when you roll on the skinny pedel. my extreme street tune doesnt do that i like it for daily driving better then my race file. im not sure if the diverter valve is going to help you in your situation because at that speed you will have your boost up so the valve will be open fully

I ordered the diverter valve, pedistal, mount for the diverter to the pedistal, drain line, and 2 v-band clamps for the compressor discharge....it was around $780.00

Southern Diesel Xtreme has a spool valve you might want to look into as well.

As said before though, you need a divided housing before you even think of this.

Edit: Might also consider these guys http://www.blaylock-turbo.com/ Im hoping to have them in my arsenal shortly.

WOW im impressed im going to call them later today:hammer:
