Getting ready to change the tranny fluid in the Ex. Where on the 5R110 is the return line located?

Thanks

On my 4R100...there is a return line from the coolers to the tranny. It's that line that I disconnect, put a hose over and run the hose over to a bucket to collect the tranny fluid. I want to do the same thing to the 5R110 in the Ex...but have little to no working knowledge of this transmission. So I'm just asking where the line is that runs from the coolers back to the tranny.

I admit that I haven't had the opportunity to crawl under the Ex to look for this, but when it comes to this motor/tranny combo...I'm just not well informed about them.

I've got the tp filter and the internal filter. I just thought the change on the 5r110 would be as easy as it is on my 99 with the 4r100. But after spending a lot of time looking at things...it doesn't appear so thanks to the internal thermostat on the 5r110. Looks like my only options are...

1. drain tranny pan, fill with 7 quarts of SP, repeat process a couple more times to get the majority of the fluid out. After the last drain, take pan off and replace internal filter and then replace aux filter.

2. drain tranny pan, take pan off, replace internal filter, replace aux filter, put tranny pan back up, fill to full and call it good.
