Hey guys,

Maybe this is the way it's suppose to shift and maybe not, But of course that's what this forum is for right? Ok I went to run my truck again yesterday and loaded up the race tune. Normally I'll run a few days on the tune before I go to the track, However it was a last minute thing. It was about 10degrees hotter out yesterday so the truck didn't run much quicker than its previous 13.85. My best pass was a 13.71 last night. Anyways the truck seems like it shifts funny. Maybe that's the way the lockup is on it but I'm not sure how all that works or how it's suppose to feel/react so that's why I'm posting. The truck shifts into 2nd then after it revs a bit it will feel like it shifts into 3rd, However it's still in 2nd. After it does that it will quickly shift into 3rd and feel like it falls flat for a moment basically like it short shifted. Is this how the Innovative race tune was designed to shift?
In the Video I'm just in drive and I'm not stalking up too high as I didn't want it to wheel hop lol. Thanks for any info guys!

The shift in 2nd your feeling is the converter locking, your truck will run quicker when the tune is just loaded then a few days later since your trans tune will learn and get lazy. The 3rd shift is for if your at wot it shouldnt fall flat , daily driving yes it will fall flat. In the video it looks like you locked your rear diff I wouldn't do that that, is hurting your time since the computer will usually defuel at 20mph to unlock it. It seems like it's shifting how it's suppose to.

Thanks for posting man. I'm glad to hear that it is normal. I kind of figured it had to be doing that due to the converter locking but I wasn't sure. Yea I had the rear diff locked. I will def have to try it again in 3 weeks when I make it back home with the rear diff unlocked and see what it does. Thanks again for the input brother!
