Im going to be doing studs here soon. I planned on doing more things but the money I thought I was going to use, well some had to go else where. So this is where I stand...

Im going to get studs done with all the updates ( I have an 06 ). I bought a y pipe from strokers unlimited since that seems like a decent upgrade while the cab is off, along with a ported intake as well. Now I do plan on going with bigger injectors too, but that will have to be later on. Is there anything else that is worth while doing and or makes installs a little easier while the cab is off? I was thinking of a RR from strictly Diesel. I think I will also send my 03 turbo that I have sitting here and send it to Barder as well.

Any help is appreciated .

BTW, I already have all of the usual stuff done to the 6.0. Monitor with EGT, FP, coolant filter etc etc

I did my RR while the cab was up, not sure how it is done when its not.
Sounds like you've got the ford updates covered. Is a new oil cooler planned. Nice and easy, noes the time to do it.

They are about 5-9 at its best and worse.

Turbo wise most likely stage2-2.5. I plan on running 175/75s, but later on.

This is where I'm stuck too... You can get the parts cheaper than it would cost for the shop that's doing the work. But then you usually get no warranty on the install or something like that... That's another dilemma that is face is to let the shop but the parts or I buy and hope the job doesn't fail...

any time you're that deep into it, I would go ahead and do an oil cooler if the other one has been on there for any length of time. No extra labor at that point

I may do it, its only an additional few hundred..

but like I said to ODawg, Im stuck on whether to bring my own parts and get ZERO warranty or just front the extra cash and get a warranty.
