door ajar, check brakes

wondering if anyone has some suggestions, i have the door ajar and check brakes lights on, the only lights working on the cluster are the warning lights, i have tried changing out to new batteries, ran tons of tests on it with ids didnt really get anywhere, one test came down to it being the pcm plugs so i cleaned and check them thoroughly, connected back together and it was good for about a week, now it is back and i can;t find anything worng with the plug, so wondering if it was fluke, and it may be something else...any ideas out there...
