DPF Tank use after delete?

Has anyone done anything with the dpf tank after deleting? Converted it into a fuel tank or anything? Wanting another project and haven't seen much out there. Thanks

That'd be nice to see. Would there be any way to use it as a fuel tank and hook it up so when your running low you could just flip a switch and use the def tank? Seen something like that on the market for a few grand.

no , we're working on a setup right now to make it an ice water tank for the intercooler. not too far away actually .

This sounds like a good idea,i had thought about using it as a meth injection tank but the only review i found of one being used on.a 6.7 was less the favorable.I love this idea though:fordoval:.

Converted mine to a reserve fuel tank

How did you work that out Cody?

If you used a bulkhead fitting on the fuel an DEF tanks down at the bottom...say 1" hose...you would effectively add 5gal capacity to the fuel tank with nothing else needed. Maybe vent the top back into the filler hose but if they were connected at the bottom the level would rise and fall with the main tank.

When you inject water/meth into the intake in a spray it will create a cooler denser air charge, lowers the egts and creates more hp/tq
