Dragon fire hpfp and nozzle size??

I have a few questions about fuel system set up... How reliable is the dragonfire hpfp? As far as being used for a daily driver? What are the largest size nozzles that the dragonfire will support? And will there be worthwhile hp gains with larger nozzles and stock turbos??

I will have an air dog 165 with upgrade on the low pressure side. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

There have been a lot of reliability issues with the industrial pump

:whs: I got a buddy with a dmax that bought a II cp3 and it lasted almost 200 miles. Pump locked up and destroyed itself. They dont want to stand behind it and say fuel contamination caused it. :bs:

And then you have guys like Erik that have thousands and thousands of trouble free miles with a lot of abuse.

I personally would avoid the pump like others have said. There are success stories, but the failures stand out a lot more.

For sure the most reliable would be something like our dual pump set up. As for the industrial pump, it could support 110's if you had the low pressure system right.

:whs: for the difference in price I'd just go with elite/rudys dual fuelers and have the peace of mind that it's 2 reliable stock pumps barely working instead of one modded pump getting abused

A lot? I've only heard of a couple.

I've heard of 3. I know one caused a full fuel system failure on the high pressure side. I also heard in that particular incident that Industrial wouldn't work with the guy. That is what stood out the most to me about that situation. Especially since the pump had like 500 miles on it.

Thanks for the input! I have read a lot about failures of the industrial, I just didn't know if they had upgraded anything on it. What I read about failures was from a while back.

Is a duel set-up worth it with stock turbos?? I would love to upgrade Turbos sometime, but I want the fuel system set up first.

What would be the largest nozzles reccomened with stock turbos??

Thanks again!

Like a dream buddy. A certain green crew cab went low 12's on fuel with super low temps at full weight with high powers. No smoke and super fast spool up.
