Sorry for the newb question but couldn't find any info except for the stock LP system. I know everyone recommends draining the stock fuel water separator monthly. Would this drain interval also apply to the FASS 150 separator?

I assume I just crack the petcock on the separator to drain fuel and any water? How much should I drain? A cup? A pint? Will draining it cause any air in the system that I'd have to do the key cycling procedure to purge?

Again, sorry for the newb questions, but I dealt with fuel system issues for the first 9 months of ownership and its finally back to running good. You could say I'm a little gun shy about touching the fuel system, even for the most basic maintenance.

Thanks!

Weeellll....

An FASS is an air/vapor separator not a water separator.

I would open the drain till 8-12oz of fuel runs out and call it good, key cycle 2-3 times and lite it off.

Cool thanks! That's what I thought but wanted to be sure. I'm tired of spending money on fixing the truck instead of fun stuff for it.

There are water separating filters for the FASS but I'm not sure which system or filter you have.

Yes, if you have a Titanium version and if it has a water separator filter on it.

The early versions didn't.

Thanks, guys. I do have the titanium with the separator filter. Thanks for the users guide as I only had the installation guide from the previous owner who installed it. Will let you know if I run in to issues but I expect it'll go fine. Thanks for the help.

NP, most everything I found just said to drain 6oz or so from the separator, cycle the key a few times, then you're good.
