I had this happen to my passenger side speaker. I took the door panel off and water had collected in the plug. I blew it out and tried it and it worked so I cut the plug off and used crimp connectors and no more problems.

Did your front and rear have issues? Seems like the front, rear, and tweeter don't work for sh*t.

It was just the front passenger speaker for me, sounds like you may have something else going on?

Hertz component speakers or JL component speakers. You won't be disappointed.

Easy to diagnose, may not be so easy to fix. Problem areas: door boot between door and cab where the wire bundle is, check for any damage. It sounds to me like a ground, most likely an exposed wire. Next check the connections to the speaker themselves, often the connectors work loose or get condensation. If it is water and you know it could happen again, get dialectic grease and coat all your speaker connectors. If it's none of those, then bust out a multi meter and check resistance on your connectors, any that are MUCH higher than the others will tell you if it is an exposed wire.

Just noticed today since the weather is getting nice, I had the windows down and noticed that the drivers door speaker wasn't making any sound so I rolled the Windows up at which time I noticed that when u start to roll the drivers side rear window up or down the rear speaker makes cracking sounds and then both front and rear driverside speakers shut off. If I roll the windows back up the sound comes back to all speakers.
