Drivers side up pipe removal

Hey guys. Think a bellow blew on my drivers side up pipe. Still have to check into it but Im getting some screaching when I get a little higher in the boost. How hard is it? Can I get at the manifold to up pipe bolts fairly easy? My egr is gone so the cooler is not in the way. Any tips and tricks? Thanks guys. Ryan

do you still have the egr pipe in?

Getting the bolts on the back of the turbo is the hardest part

The screaching may not be an up pipe but...do you still have your EGR? It'll be more difficult with that in. It's really not that bad to change but that is coming from a person with alot of tools and mechanical ability. Just alot of tight areas and working blind behind the turbo.

That and small hands. If you still have the egr pipe that goes around the back of the motor, it will be much harder.

Oh nice. If the hardest part is getting the bolts behind the turbo then it should be a breeze. Takes me about 10 minutes for all six to come out. All my egr stuff is gone. Couple of things i have to check. Not sure if its the up pipe or not.

Its a pain but doable, I'd step up to a beefier up pipe though.

6.0 manifolds and custom up pipes is what he means. Love to but funds at this time are directed elsewhere. Thats gonna be a spring project/build. Changing my setup

When I installed mt egr delete it came with normal bolts for the manifold... They backed out and I got a squealing sound and it was the manifold gaskets... But factory bolts and spacers n it and the squealing stopped... Just an idea

I had a strange squealing once too, and it turned out to be the rear manifold bolts backing out. Tightened them up and all good.

I believe this is pretty common.

Ill throw a pic up when i get back to the house from hunting. Lol. Only the second buck ive shot. First one was when i was 14 lol. Place where i hunt blows but my g pas 84 and refuses to go anywhere else so i hunt with him cause he wont be here to much longer. If it has antlers its down haha
