so here is the deal, had the problem for a while and just never really had the time or motavation to dig into fixing it.

rolled the window up to wash the truck, finished washing it & went inside to get some lunch, came back out and the driver side window switch wont work (wont roll down driver or passenger side window) but i can walk to the passenger side and the window will roll down.
driver side will roll up and down if i pull the switcher out and run a hotwire to the up/down pole.
so that would seam like a bad switch right? pulled one out of my buddies e99 (only difference between mine/his is that he has power mirors both are e99's{maybe that could be an issue?} ) still nothing.
ok so maybe the gem got wet?-swapped the gem out of his e99 (well swapped entire fusebox/gem bundle{maybe that could be an issue?})

is their maybe a fuse or something that ive blown that im not aware of?
what else could this issuse be caused by?

ive heard that maybe the wire bundle in the door might be shorted from open/closing but how can i get the wires out to check them?

Probably the cummins infecting the ford :slap: Sorry had to... Dirty contact I bet. Take it apart and use a small file or cut down a fingernail file to clean the contacts. Had to do it on my wifes focus. Good luck:toast:

Pull the switch pod out and move the connectors/wires, unplug and plug them back in and see if you can get them work.. That's how I narrowed it down to the switch on my friends truck..

i pulled it, wiggled them, tapped them, cleaned the inside "sleve" for the wire prong. crused at it, called it dirty names, called it sweet names. nothing works. but for some stupid reason i can "hotwire" it up and down. but yet swapping the switch from my buddies e99 with power mirrors didnt fix it? ugh lol

Can you take the pod from the passenger door and put the plug in at the drivers door just to see if it works? Just a thought, IDK if you can or not..
