Hey guys, well I took the truck in today to get my front 2" coil spacers put on and my new 20x12/305/50 wheel and tire setup put on. When I go to pick the truck up the truck still sits a good 1.5" to 2" taller in the rear, and I'm figuring the airlift setup is holding the suspension taller in the rear. I don't want to lift the front anymore, can I throw a shackle on the rear to even it out or is that a no go with tow bags setups? It's the Airlift loadlifter 5000 setup, which I would like to keep since I help my dad haul some stuff from time to time. Thanks for any input.

I did Google this and found some sites that said do it and some said don't. Just trying to get a straight answer so I can get it back down to the shop tomorrow and have it done if I can.

If the bags are holding the rear up then let some air out, you only need a few psi when empty. If the bags are empty then the best option would be to change or remove the rear block. 250's are about 2", 350's about 4" stock. You will also need new U bolts.

I looked today and I don't have a rear block. Just the leafs, overload and airbags.

And the bag is completely aired down, but the air management system on it keeps a constant 3 psi minimum in them at all times.
