I'm looking for some input on this, mostly out of curiosity. I did a search and all I've seen is 7.3s using two stock fuel pumps as an upgrade, but no 6.0 owners. Any reason for this? I'm cheap and prefer to do custom work myself, so ideas like this spike my interest. :toast:

for a full on custom fuel system,i would use aeromotive or fuel lab.

using a ad for a supply pump to the oem pump is fine.

once you need more fuel than what the oem can put out, ad isn't the best option. they're just to small.

on my black truck i used a a1000,and a hellman sump.

wot i cant get the fuel pressure to drop. set it and forget it.

using a second oem pump is not a good choice, because of the space they take up,and cost of the filters.

realistically you could build a much better system, with the above pump choice, have a better ,more reliable setup with lower maintenance costs.

Like said, if you wanna use the stock pump that's fine...then just add a low pressure FASS or airdog150 with it. I ran that setup(stock pump and low pressure FASS) for a long time and even ran it with 190's with no issues. I now have the low pressure FASS feeding a fuelab that sits in the stock pump location...very nice setup and i'd actually recommend a setup like this over running just a high pressure FASS or AirdogII pump.
